Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC)

JISC conducts surveys and deliberates on industrial standardization. JISC deliberates on the adoption and revision of JIS and contributes to formulation of standardization policies in Japan and overseas.
JISC also participates in development of international standards such as ISO and the IEC.
Toshiba proactively participates in initiatives by international organizations, such as the UN Global Compact.
As a member of Japan Business Federation, Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) and several other industry organizations, Toshiba addresses industry-specific issues.
